Yossi
Since the death of his beloved Jagger, Yossi has lived in seclusion – but a young, openly gay officer changes all that.
Ten years after the death of Jagger, Yossi is still mourning his great love and he still has problems being openly gay – especially in his job as a doctor, where no one knows he's homosexual. When he comes up against his limitations in both his career and his job, he flees his daily routine with a road trip. Along the way he meets a group of young soldiers, which includes Tom, who hides his sexuality from no one - showing Yossi how much society has changed around him in the last decade. But Yossi's baggage is still a great weight on him.
Israeli director Eytan Fox's Yossi & Jagger became an international classic of Queer Cinema ten years ago. The sequel deals with the survivor of his beloved characters, focusing on the qualities his fans have come to expect from all his films: the sensitive direction of his actors, big and realistic emotions and an easy method of storytelling that won't scare (heterosexual) mainstream audiences.
