In the wake of many clashes between the transformers, the majority of the governments on Earth have declared the robots illegal, putting a military force in charge of eliminating them. When an autobot ship crashes into Chicago, Cade Yeager, accompanied by the faithful Bumblebee, tries to rescue them. One of the robots gives Cade a mysterious talisman. Cade does not suspect that he will soon have to face Optimus Prime, who is under the control of an evil force arriving from space, which is determined to find an artifact hidden on Earth for 2,000 years...

Transformers, Episode 5. Nothing has changed since the first movie in 2007, or almost nothing: despite the media hype to the contrary, Michael Bay remained on board to direct, accompanied by superstar Mark Wahlberg in the wake of the trilogy with Shia LaBeouf. At 2 hours 29, with tons of explosions, robots of all kinds and endless stunts, Transformers: The Last Knight reinvents nothing: the fifth installment is just another pyrotechnic variation of the war between mechanical machines that destroy everything on their way to save the Earth, while the audience munches popcorn. Fans will be delighted, everyone else has better things to do.
