Jimmy Bonomo (Sylvester Stallone) is a tough assassin with strong principles: he makes no compromises with the enemy and never kills the innocent. Because of this, his young partner is killed during an assignment and Jimmy is soon targeted by the ambitious detective Tylor Kwon (Sung Kang), whose colleague has also just been shot. All the evidence points to Jimmy. To avenge the death of his partner and to prove his innocence, Jimmy joins forces with Detective Kwon. Together they investigate every lead to find the real killer.

Old master Walter Hill (48 Hours, Trespass, Southern Comfort), proves he still has what it takes to make an uncompromising, sleek action flick. The fact that the movie is still only for diehard genre and Stallone fans lies in the obvious plot and the unintentionally funny dialog, especially that of co-star Sung Kang, who pales beside Stallone.
